We invite you to join us in our efforts to inform New Zealanders about their monarchy and its value. You are able to join anytime, online.
As a member of Monarchy New Zealand you will receive email updates whenever a press release is made or a journal is available to view online and you will be invited to events such as our annual general meeting (AGM) where the executive gives a presentation of the previous year and the year to come.
You are able to renew your membership each year online to ensure you’re always up-to-date and invited to events that we are involved in.

We have a number of payment and membership options to suit a range of circumstances including a free supporter membership.

Benefits of Your Financial Membership:
By joining Monarchy New Zealand as a financial member you are not only helping us to inform New Zealanders about our uniquely kiwi monarchy but you are also able to join us at events, social gatherings and our annual general meeting (which is usually held shortly after the end of the financial year and located at parliament in Wellington). In addition you will also be emailed our regular journal Crown and Koru which contains updates on Monarchy New Zealand and New Zealand’s monarchy.

Non-Financial Supporter Membership:
If you are looking to support Monarchy New Zealand but do not wish to become a full financial member you are able to subscribe to our online mailing list as a supporter. You will be emailed when we publish press releases and will be invited to some events throughout the year. To receive all of the membership benefits you will need to become a financial member.

A Snapshot of Our 2014/2015 Year:
At the 2015 annual general meeting Monarchy New Zealand chair Dr Sean Palmer shared our successes from the previous year. This year we:
- Hosted one annual general meeting with our members and executive team.
- Watched one royal tour take place and begun planning for another.
- Gave two community talks.
- Published three formal press releases.
- Hosted and attended three social functions for our members.
- Celebrated the birth a second royal baby and commemorated that with the help of New Zealand Post.
- Released two 12 page journals.
- Gave over 25 media interviews on our monarchy and its value.
- Welcomed the enactment of the Royal Succession Act.
- Held a consistent social media presence.
- Assisted and attended the Conference on the Crown.
Our Larger Projects:
In addition to our regular and yearly work (above) we also work hard on specific projects such as sending portraits of New Zealand’s Queen to New Zealand schools and lighting up New Zealand monuments and buildings blue to celebrate the birth of Prince George.
